First, decide on the content you want to create.  You can do articles, which are newsworthy pieces that you may have in a blog or magazine, blog posts that are about 1000-1500 words and they will keep readers on a page for a longer time.  You can use headings and create prose that gives worthwhile content to readers oo.

You can use guides and pillar pages, which are longer and handle involved questions or infographics that use visuals in order to make a point. However, these aren’t crawlable, so you’ll want to use this with a blog post.  Listicles are good too since they allow for a variety of keywords to be included with a product.  Videos work too, but they’re like infographics can can’t be crawled, so keep that in mind.

Next, look at who your audience is, and what the best content for them will be.  You can audit the content and figure out what resonates with the audience, and helps to create personas for the behavior, location, and demographics as well. You can also determine the questions people will look for in a search with this.

Next, look at sales.  What do you want to gain? Do you want conversions? Do you want to have a brand voice/  this is a big part, and having the right goals will allow you to take the content creation and the SEO that you want to create these goals?  You should make sure that you optimize the content so that it will retain and attract the customers that you want to, and setting goals to allow for this.

Next, put together a content calendar.  Show when you’re going to release the content and make sure that you follow this.  Once you’ve determined a schedule, you then can build the content.  You can look for the keywords as well to research, and the phrasing to use for placement. Again, your goal is to combine the practice of creating engaging content with the aspect of keyword optimization. Leveraging the content intelligence is essential, and digging into metrics is important.

Finally, look at your analytics. See how you perform, and look for yourself to see if that was the correct idea. By doing this, you’ll be able to determine what it is that you need to change, and the different aspects of it too.

By doing this, you’ll be able to create content that will help you as a business, and in turn, create a much better, more worthwhile result, and a better business too.
